On a daily basis, just as he has done for the past 16 years, Tron works with clients on the accumulation, preservation and transfer of their wealth. Much of his day is focused on staying in touch with clients, evaluating their goals and concerns, and creating plans and defining strategies designed to meet their needs.

Tron carefully listens to each client to gain a real understanding of their needs and concerns. “My goal is for all my clients to identify and pursue their individual goals. Each client and their dynamic needs are so different. I really take the time to analyze what is most important to them, and then create a personalized plan designed to strive for those goals,” Tron says.

With most clients, their goals and concerns almost always focus on preparing for their future needs and preserving what they already have. They want to stay on track, so they can one day transfer their wealth to their children and grandchildren.

“Being a wealth advisor, as opposed to just an investment representative, I really look at our clients and their needs from a more holistic perspective – with a focus on today, tomorrow and way into the future,” Tron says.

He strives to treat each client like family and always do what’s best for them. He truly cares about them and their financial well-being.

Knowing that certain investments and strategies can sometimes be confusing and even intimidating, Tron patiently devotes time to educating his clients so that they can feel more confident about financial matters.

When his father was preparing to retire almost 25 years ago, Tron helped him understand the importance of having a good financial plan and support team. “As I helped him navigate retirement and financial planning, I became very interested in the field, and realized how critically important it was to have a trusted wealth advisor to help navigate the financial landscape,” Tron said.

Tron transitioned to Raymond James in 2021 with his whole team, including his assistant of 12 years, Terri Bozarth, and his son, Logan. “The move to Raymond James is the next step in our growth as a financial services team, as it will give us the added resources and investment options to be even more of a true financial partner to our growing list of clients and their families,” said Tron.

Previously, Tron had been with Edward Jones as a financial advisor for 16 years, with an office in the North Phoenix/Cave Creek area, where he was responsible for managing the wealth of over 350 clients and their families. Earlier in his career, he was the director of student affairs and corporate relations for a technology-focused university in Tempe, Arizona. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business from Arizona State University.

Tron was born in Pittsburgh, moved to Colorado in grade school and eventually moved to Arizona to attend Arizona State University. He has been married for over 31 years to his wonderful wife, Karen, and has three amazing children, Dylan, Logan and Jordanne. They have made Anthem, Arizona, their home for the past 18 years, and love doing things as a family, including hiking, biking, golf, pickleball, scuba diving and traveling.

“We love all outdoor activities, and I do a lot of mountain biking, hiking, snowboarding, wake boarding, pickleball and golfing, and almost all of these activities we do as a family, which is our biggest hobby – family time,” says Tron.

As his kids were growing up, Tron was always part of their activities and sports as a coach or parent volunteer. He coached football for eight years and then moved to the local high school, where he coached lacrosse for both the junior varsity and varsity teams for seven years. Additionally, non-sports related, they were a foster family for a lab and giant-breed dog rescue organization for five years.

“As an ASU graduate, I was not happy when Dylan and Jordanne decided to attend the University of Arizona, but my faith was restored when Logan applied and was accepted in the business honors program at my alma mater,” adds Tron.
