Paul H. Evans, AAMS® Co‐Founder, STWP Wealth Advisor, RJFS

Paul works with families and individuals from all walks of life and in different professions, including physicians, attorneys, business owners, corporate executives, mortgage brokers, sales reps and others. Some are retired, while others are working toward reaching that goal. Building a legacy is important to them, so that they may someday efficiently transfer their wealth to their loved ones and favorite charitable causes.

“My goal for my clients is actually really simple. I want them to feel confident that they have partnered with someone who cares about them and has a clear understanding of their goals and situation,” Paul says.

Paul communicates regularly with his clients. Some communications are scheduled, while others are based on need or circumstances as they arise. “I am on top of their plan and will be in touch whenever necessary. When meaningful change happens in a client’s life, I can adapt and change their plan accordingly,” adds Paul. In addition, if there are challenging market events, he makes it a point to proactively reach out to clients to help guide them.

Paul genuinely looks out for his clients’ best interest. “Through the partnership that we create together, my goal is to guide them down a path that allows them to achieve whatever it is they want for their lives. If that happens, then I have done my job,” says Paul.

Paul has always been driven by a strong desire to serve people. Before he embarked on his financial career nearly 15 years ago, he was driven by that strong desire and an aspiration to make a positive difference in people’s lives. “It has been way more rewarding than I could have imagined. We build lifelong and generational relationships with our clients. We have attended weddings, funerals, baptisms and many other life events of our clients,” Paul says.

Knowing that it’s critical to have access to the best tools, resources, research and technology available, Paul and his co-workers transitioned to Raymond James in 2021. “After evaluating numerous firms, it became evident that Raymond James stands out in providing us all we need to serve our clients at a high level.”

Previously in his career, Paul had been a financial advisor with Edward Jones since 2006, where he held numerous leadership roles, including field trainer leader, recruiting leader, performance leader and client transition leader. Earlier in life, he worked in the business world as a district manager for Maytag Appliances in Tulsa, Oklahoma, for almost five years. He is an Accredited Asset Management Specialist℠ and a graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia.

Active in the community, Paul served on the board of Future For Kids, a local Arizona nonprofit, and has volunteered at his church, Christ’s Church of the Valley, and for other local causes.

While Paul has lived in many places, he considers St. Louis, Missouri, his hometown. He has lived in Scottsdale for nearly 15 years and enjoys life here with his wife, Nikki, and their son, Brock and daughter Waverly.

Paul likes staying active, hiking, playing golf, and competing in Sprint triathlons and 5k and 10k races. An avid sports fan, he has adopted the local Arizona teams but remains a diehard Mizzou sports fan as well. He also plays guitar, loves traveling, and spends most of his free time with family and friends.

Raymond James is not affiliated with the above organizations and/or charitable causes.
